Todays plugin is called “Post Expirator<\/strong><\/a>” and it’s the perfect companion for someone who has ‘non-permanent<\/em>‘ blog posts! \u00a0Here’s the basic deal. \u00a0Post Expirator’s settings will allow you to pick certain categories that\u00a0you want to expire (by default.) \u00a0So if you only have certain posts categories that you want to expire…you can do it! \u00a0You can also set a default expiration time. \u00a0So when you go to write a new blog post, the expiration will automatically be set and you don’t have to worry about setting it with every post. \u00a0 You also have plenty of options to either delete the post after a set period, change it to a draft or update the post category.<\/p>\n

I first started using Post Expirator<\/strong> for WRNJ Radio<\/strong><\/a>. \u00a0WRNJ likes to post guests for their weekly programming. \u00a0Problem was, we don’t need the guests of a show on the website a year later. \u00a0So we set Post Expirator<\/strong> to delete the ‘Programming<\/strong>‘ category posts one month after they’re posted. \u00a0It’s been working great for WRNJ!<\/p>\n
